As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Post/Print Room Assistant to join our team. This position plays an essential role in ensuring smooth operations by managing printing tasks, handling mail, and supporting administrative functions across the company.
The Post/Print Room Assistant will be responsible for managing all print and mail-related activities within BLKMARK Properties. This includes operating printing and copying equipment, ensuring timely distribution of internal and external correspondence, and supporting other administrative duties. You will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient communication and seamless daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain printers, copiers, and other office equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- Prepare and organize printed documents for mailing or filing.
- Assist with creating, printing, and organizing materials for internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Ensure all printed and mailed documents are accurate and meet company standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the office staff as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized print/mail room environment.
- Handle confidential materials in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or administrative experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role (office assistant, mailroom clerk, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of office printing equipment and technology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and carry mail/packages (up to 30 lbs).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $21.20 - $22.20 per hour
