Role Summary
The Intake Consultant/Legal Assistant plays a critical role in providing administrative and legal support. This position is the first point of contact for clients and prospective clients, ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of firm operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls from clients and prospective clients to gather relevant information and assess their legal needs.
- Conduct intake interviews with potential clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while handling sensitive information.
- Respond to general inquiries about the firm’s services and operations.
- Maintain and organize electronic client files.
- Review and organize legal documents to ensure compliance with firm standards.
- Manage legal case files and maintain accurate records in the case management system.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare necessary documentation for litigation or other legal proceedings.
- Manage correspondence by scanning, sending, and receiving documents.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
- Assist the legal team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case details.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Some legal experience preferred but not required.
Skills and Competencies
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of professionalism and reliability.
- Ability to work collaboratively under the direction of others.
