As a Senior Component Repair Technician, You Will
Troubleshoot, Diagnose and Repair diagnostic imaging parts based on verbal and written instructions. Document processes modifications and newly developed repair procedures. Provide mentorship to apprentices and component repair technicians.

Essential Functions:
Demonstrates professional knowledge of parts repair by Block Imaging
Run basic test protocols
Update and install software updates
Perform minor subassembly component replacements
Ability to create documentation/written work procedures and test validation forms & results
Demonstrate proficient use of hand tools, including soldering iron, heat gun, multimeters, and power supplies
Safely remove and replace suspect components from circuit boards
Ability to read, interpret schematics and block diagrams
Demonstrate proficient use of advanced tools used remove and replace SMD and BGA components
Basic ability to understand and compile code
Ability to provide mentorship to others
Objectives
To support the overall goal of fast, efficient, and safe repair projects
To assure that circuit boards and assemblies are prepped and cosmetically ready for sale or installation
To develop expertise in mechanical install/removal of imaging equipment
To assure all the work is documented in a manner required for compliance and for maintenance of appropriate internal standards
To perform all functions in a safe and appropriate manner, adhering to guidelines set by OSHA for the warehouse
To maintain a safe, clean, and functioning workspace
Qualifications
Evidence of mechanical aptitude that can be established by a combination of some or all the following:
Education;
Certificates;
Work Experience; and/or interests/hobbies
1-2 years of tier 1 experience in medical imaging repair/validation (or similar industry performing electronics testing or validation).
Education: Associates or B.S. degree in Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years of Component Repair Technician or equivalent experience.
