The Zone Service Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing field service operations within their designated zone. This leadership position involves managing a team of Area Service Managers, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, and maintaining a profitable and efficient operation. Additionally, the Zone Service Director is responsible for driving Customer Service Management (CSM) compliance, handling escalations, and effectively managing costs.

Requirements

Essential Functions

Leadership And Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of Area Service Managers, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

KPI Management

  • Define and track key performance indicators to monitor and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to meet or exceed established KPI targets.

Financial Oversight

  • Oversee all Profit and Loss (P&L) aspects for the designated zone, including revenue generation, cost control, and budget adherence.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

Customer Service Management (CSM) Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to CSM policies and standards to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.

Escalations Management

  • Address and resolve customer escalations promptly and effectively, ensuring customer concerns are handled with care and urgency.

Cost Management

  • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize operational expenses without compromising service quality.
  • Identify areas for potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Process Improvement

  • Evaluate existing operational processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for streamlining and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance service delivery.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with other departments, such as Sales, Engineering, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational performance and initiatives.

Compliance And Regulatory Adherence

  • Ensure that all operations within the zone comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

Performance Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a field service or operations environment.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance and meet targets.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
