Welder

Position: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Semi-skilled job involving custom frame fabrication by cutting, punching, welding, grinding, sanding and finishing frames per work order specifications and templates. Custom preparation of doors for hardware, light kits and glass installation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• MIG Welding of hollow metal frame material and commercial hardware
• Assembly of hollow metal frame material and commercial hardware
• Frequent work saw cutting, grinding, and sanding related materials
• Various shop and warehouse responsbilities as assigned based on business needs.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience using MIG welders preferred
• Must know how to read a tape measure and blueprints
• Ability to lift 50lbs independently (and up to 100lbs with assistance)
• 1-2 years previous experience
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated, work unsupervised, quality work and willingness to learn
• Basic construction knowledge with specific experience related to hollow metal and commercial hardware applications strongly preferred
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
