Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Crew Lead as well as Crew Members to join our team. We also have a power washing division so some pressure and soft washing could be part of your daily tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping practices. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes. If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience in garden care, tree and bush trimming, drainage work, hardscape projects, or power washing, we encourage you to apply. Pay is based on experience. Our season starts in late March.
Responsibilities
- Landscape bed maintenance and installs - planting, installing mulch and stone, edging, and removing weeds.
- Pressure washing and soft washing with strong attention to detail.
- Trimming trees and bushes with precise cuts.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Installing drainage systems.
- Build and maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns regarding their landscapes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscaping activities preferred - planting, tree/bush trimming, drainage systems, and hardscaping.
- Familiarity with tree care practices such as trimming and pruning is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using power tools (e.g., hedgers, chainsaws) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
