Staff Machine Learning Engineer (Modeling), Product AI

The Role

The Multimodal AI team utilizes expertise in computer vision and natural language processing to make Square's products better for sellers. Our work helps sellers get online more easily, understand their business data better, and create more personalized experiences for their customers. We're looking for an ML Engineer with Staff-level experience building and improving ML and AI models.

You Will

• Lead modeling efforts on projects that improve core Square products
• Work with stakeholders to discover ML opportunities and develop project plans
• Keep up with new AI developments and bring useful technologies into our work
• Mentor junior engineers in solving ML and AI problems
• Make strategic decisions about how we deploy and maintain our models
• Have an impact on the future of AI at Square!

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
