Product Design Intern - Mobile Fintech Applications

Location :

Remote | Flexible Hours

Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) | Immediate Start

We're seeking a Product Design Intern to craft intuitive, responsive, and visually striking fintech applications. This role is ideal for someone excited to design user-focused products that leverage cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Application Design

Design responsive and intuitive mobile fintech applications , including robo-advisors and trading platforms, using tools like Figma.

  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business goals and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
  • Create user flows, interaction designs, and micro-interactions to enhance usability and engagement.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on design vision and implementation.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing results to continuously improve the user experience.

    • Deliverables

  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Maintain and enhance a

    • design system

    for consistent and scalable UI / UX across platforms.

  • Ensure the app is responsive and optimized for diverse devices and resolutions.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile :

    Technical Skills

    Proficiency in Figma

    for creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs.

  • Experience designing

    • responsive web and mobile apps

    with clean, modern interfaces.

  • Familiarity with best practices for designing fintech applications or complex systems (experience with

    • charts ,

    data-heavy interfaces , or

    financial tools

    is a plus).

    Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a creative problem-solver.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate designs efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Fintech Knowledge (Preferred but not required)

  • Familiarity with financial products, such as

    • robo-advisors ,

    exchanges , or

    trading tools .

  • Understanding of fintech UX principles, including data visualization and security best practices.
