Job Requirements:
We're looking for an experienced Technician who is responsible for completing preventative maintenance checks on our computer equipment within our data centers. Techs are responsible for maintaining machines that need repair and communicating with customers on the status of their equipment.
Data Center Technicians are critical in supporting our data center operations and customer relationships.

Russellville, Arkansas
Job Responsibilities:
- On the ground data center support for management team and customers; technician will report directly to data center operations manager
- Deployment and maintenance of data center equipment
- Running cables: copper, fiber, and general electrical
- Equipment racking set up including network gear and servers
- Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of servers, network devices, and data center operations
- Oversee reporting within company databases
- Maintenance of documentation for use in other data centers
- Ensure all tools, workstations, and laptops are kept in working order
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of computer service experience in a fast-paced business environment with customer facing focus preferred
- Positive and professional attitude with a very high attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- High attention to detail, basic troubleshooting procedures, and basic computer knowledge
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Following experience preferred but not required:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2 years' experience Electrical Journeyman
- 2 years' experience in IT position
- 2 years' experience PC level help desk and repairs
Working Environment:
This is a data center operation where technicians use and move standard data center equipment including servers, smartphones, and hardware testing equipment. A technician must meet certain physical requirements of the job, such as installing heavy equipment and operating heavy machinery including forklifts as needed.
