JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process overhead expense bills and inventory invoices.
- Verify sales and use-tax on overhead invoices.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Assist accounts payable check runs.
- Maintain and reconcile bank statements.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and compliance with company policy.
- Scan and file incoming / outgoing documents.
- Answer phone calls and assist associates, clients, and vendors by providing information and taking messages.
- Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required.
- Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Corporate Administrative Specialist must:
- Complete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen.
- Possess at least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting.
- Be able to calculate figures and amounts (i.e., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.).
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work in fast-paced environment requiring multitasking.
- Have proficiency in accounting software.
- Utilize Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The Corporate Administrative Specialist:
- Will work in an indoor office setting.
- Will occasionally lift/move objects up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk.
- Will regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
