Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Photographer with a proven track record in professional photography and supervisory roles. This individual will oversee all aspects of our photography operations, ensuring high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand while managing and mentoring a team of photographers.

Job Responsibilities

Photography & Creative Direction:

• Plan, execute, and edit high-quality photo shoots for products, marketing campaigns, events, and corporate needs.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, and design teams to develop visually compelling content that aligns with company objectives.
• Maintain a consistent visual style across all images to reflect brand identity.
  
  

Supervision & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of photographers, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed.
• Schedule and assign projects to team members, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Monitor and manage team performance, conducting regular reviews and evaluations.
  
  

Equipment & Studio Management

• Maintain and manage photography equipment and studio space to ensure functionality and availability for all projects.
• Research and recommend new equipment or software to improve efficiency and quality.
  
  

Post-Production Oversight

• Supervise the editing and retouching process to ensure final deliverables meet professional standards.
• Review and approve all final images before publication or distribution.
  
  

Project Management

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does have supervisory responsibilities including retoucher/asset manager.

Work Environment

This job operates in a retail store environment.

Physical Demands

This employee will regularly be standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and lifting.

Qualifications Needed To Perform This Position

• Proven experience as a professional photographer with a robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in various photography styles (product, portrait, lifestyle, etc.).
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One.
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques, camera equipment, and post-production processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  
  

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position working either AM or PM based on the needs of the business.
