Title : Mid-Level Technical Writer
Location : Lynnwood, WA
Duration : 3 Months Contract (Hybrid - work 2-3 days per week on-site)
Pay Rate Range : $42.70 / hr to $50 / hr

The company is embarking on a major initiative to enhance its internal documentation processes and standardize technical content management within Confluence.
Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Writer to assist in developing documentation standards and migrating existing documentation to Confluence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical writing, particularly within Confluence, and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistency and accuracy across various documentation sources.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage templates for documentation transfer, including meeting notes, standard operating procedures, and data tables.
Migrate documentation from legacy sources (wiki and Google Drive) into Confluence while maintaining structure and accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to define an optimized folder structure within Confluence.
Assess current documentation practices and propose improvements for consistency, usability, and standardization.
Ensure a smooth and efficient documentation transfer process by working closely with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technical Writer , with expertise in Confluence documentation management.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with documentation migration and template standardization.
Preferred Skills
Experience with architectural diagrams and the ability to collaborate with technical teams on visual documentation.
Knowledge of Google Drive and wiki-based documentation systems .
