Job Overview:
We are seeking two highly skilled Network Automation Engineers to join our clients dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining network automation solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in SALT Stack, Python, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins, with a strong background in automating complex network configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Automation: Develop and implement automation frameworks for network configuration, monitoring, and management.
SALT Stack Management: Utilize SALT Stack for configuration management and orchestration of network infrastructure.
Python Development: Write Python scripts for automating network provisioning and integrations.
Ansible Playbooks: Design and maintain Ansible playbooks for network automation.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for deploying network automation tools.
Version Control: Use Git for source code management and version control.
Jenkins Integration: Develop and manage Jenkins pipelines for automation testing and deployments.
Collaboration: Work with network engineers and developers to improve automation processes.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose issues and optimize automation workflows for performance and scalability.
Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for automation processes.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices in network automation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in network engineering or network automation.
Expertise in SALT Stack for network automation and orchestration.
Strong Python programming skills for automation and tool development.
Experience with Ansible for network configuration automation.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Git for automated deployments.
Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS) and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
Strong troubleshooting skills in automation and infrastructure.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), Juniper (JNCIP, JNCIE), or similar network automation certifications.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes in network automation.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
