Compensation :
- Pay Rate range : $83.35 to $100 / hr (during contract period)
- Conversion Salary range : $130k to $140K (based on experience)

Job Overview :
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on driving secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies and collaborate closely with engineering and security teams to ensure the integrity of cloud infrastructure and applications.
The position is hybrid, and includes a blend of security engineering (50-60%), infrastructure support (30-40%), and FinOps tasks (5-10%).
Responsibilities :
Cloud Security Operations :
Perform cloud security risk analysis and implement controls.
Respond to security incidents and findings.
Monitor and manage cloud security posture using tools like CSPM and CIEM.
Conduct API and container security scanning.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
IAM and Cloud Infrastructure Management :
Design, test, and implement least privilege IAM roles and policies.
Ensure consistent deployment of roles via Terraform and GitLab pipelines.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, including connectivity and performance.
Manage lifecycle events for AWS services, providing recommendations to product teams.
FinOps and Cost Management :
Monitor and analyze cloud cost anomalies.
Recommend and implement cost optimization solutions.
Provide regular executive-level cost reports.
Project Highlights :
Implement standardized IAM roles across multiple accounts.
Review and update cloud security standards and controls.
Assist in VPC migration and microsegmentation planning.
Develop Terraform structures for team-based code management.
Support ZPA connector rollout and automation updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Cloud Security Expertise : AWS services, risk analysis, IAM, CSPM, CIEM, Zero Trust principles.
Technical Proficiency : Terraform, Python, GitHub / GitLab, AWS Identity Center, AWS serverless stack.
Networking Knowledge : AWS Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, Security Groups, basic networking.
Certifications : AWS Solutions Architect and Security certifications (preferred).
Soft Skills : Strong communication (written and verbal), ability to lead and drive projects independently, organizational skills.
Preferred Skills :
Additional Certifications : Other cloud-related certifications.
Bonus Experience : Azure, Kubernetes, and InsightCloudSec.
Eligibility Requirements :
Work Authorization : US Citizens and Green Card holders only.
Education : College degree preferred but not required.
