Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Onboarding - Lead the onboarding process for the site including scheduling dates of orientation, activation of onboarding process in HRIS system, communication of new hires to department managers and direct supervisors of new hires, and coordination on initial weeks activities to help the new hire seamlessly integrate into Blommer.
- Employee engagement - maintain relationship with new hires during their 30, 60, 90-day assessments. Ensure new hires are completing training and survey information to help Blommer improve new hire processes. Hold touch-point meetings or one-on-ones with new hires to actively engage in their development at Blommer. Address questions of new hires to ensure they understand policies and expectations.
- Training – support training activities including documentation of workforce planning and HOT POPPER. Ensure training is updated in HRIS system for skill-based pay.
- Recognition - develop and management various engagement activities to recognize individual personal and professional life events.
- HR Administration - perform administrative tasks as assigned.
- Communicate and comply with Blommer established policies and procedures, including corporate guidelines on business ethics
- Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommendations. Make recommendations to corporate on policy and practices changes to maintain compliance.

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
- Two (2 ) years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, establish and build trusting relationships
- Managerial and organizational skills are essential
- Time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Expected to identify, communicate/escalate, and problem-solve as issues arise
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with HRIS helpful
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, business administration or related field
