Available Shifts:
- 3rd shift: Sunday night - Thursday night 11pm-7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Incoming process - Weight and inspect truck and container, verify carrier information appointment, seals are in place, sealed and align to the shipping paperwork received. The overall appearance of the truck needs to be clean, sanitary, and a valid wash ticket provided. Issues with a truck must be communicated to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Visually inspect product, pull sample, and deliver to laboratory for analysis. Once approved, set up pump to defined tank ensuring availability of tank to receive product type and quantity. Inspect and change screens per HACCP, record findings.
- Outgoing process – complete shipment records, validate all product has been tested and COA is available for the driver. Inspect truck to ensure clean and empty. Issues with a truck must be communicated to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Attach hoses to truck and pump in appropriate quantity of product. Monitor sweco, filters, magnets. If any contaminants are found notify shift supervisor. Once the product is released, affix seals to the truck. Inspect and change screens per HACCP, record findings.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; Report any non-conformities
- Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed
- Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle
- Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.)

Physical Requirements:
- Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time
- Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery
- Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach
- Able to observe and detect issues
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment - daily exposure to noise, dust, and variation in temperature (hot/cold)
Safety, Quality and Hygiene Requirements:
- Operate with a focus on safety and quality, while maintaining a sanitary work environment
- Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout requirements for hazardous energy sources
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards
- Adhere to FDA HACCP guidelines
- Adhere to Allergen Management best practices for food manufacturers
- Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct

- Operate with a high set of standards to produce consistent, quality-driven results
- Identify and escalate errors in batches, defects in production and any material issues that impede production

- Must be able to interface with truck carriers and laboratory personnel
- Must be able to detect issues with product color
- Able to follow clear instructions
- Able to read and write English to perform tasks successfully
- Basic technology skills to record data into computer or electronic tablet
- Continuous attention to details in performing all tasks
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor as well as with a team, as required
- Expected to identify, communicate/escalate, and problem-solve as issues arise
