Job Title: Massage Therapist

Job Summary:
Blondie’s Salon & Spa is seeking a highly skilled and professional Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to our guests, delivering personalized treatments that promote relaxation, wellness, and healing. The ideal candidate will have a current Indiana license or certification, a passion for the wellness industry, and a commitment to offering a top-tier guest experience. As a Massage Therapist at Blondie’s, you will be a key part of our mission to create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment where guests can relax and rejuvenate. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Certification or Indiana License
Earnings Range:
- Hourly (40% Service Commission, 10% Retail Commission, and tips)

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience:
- Conduct full consultations using Blondie’s consultation framework.
- Educate guests about products and services that will benefit them, creating personalized treatment plans.
- Document guest notes, products used, and products/services recommended.
- Encourage guest return visits.
- With permission, take photos of guests receiving services.
- Participate in guest relationship-building activities such as follow-up calls, thank you cards, and holiday gifts.
- Use Blondie’s systems to ensure excellent customer service.
Goal Setting & Tracking:
- Attend monthly one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Submit a coaching reflection form 1 week prior to each session.
- Track daily progress and work towards team goals.
Continued Education:
- Attend all paid education sessions offered by Blondie’s.
- Actively seek additional educational opportunities.
- Refresh product and ingredient knowledge during downtime.
- Learn from coworkers and share knowledge with the team.
Cleanliness:
- Keep tools, implements, and work areas clean and sanitized.
- Restock supplies used for services and take laundry to the laundry room daily.
- Maintain a neat and clutter-free work area.
- Ensure common areas are tidy.
Marketing:
- Maintain an active social media profile showcasing your specialty.
- Share photos and captions a minimum of twice per week.
- Participate in business-building opportunities and events.
Skills Required:
- Confident and comfortable speaking with guests and making product/service recommendations.
- Professional and adept at building strong guest relationships.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to WOW guests.
- Time management skills to keep a schedule and stay on-time.
- Strong communication with both the salon team and front desk team.
Level System & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Blondie’s operates on a level system, where employees have the opportunity to "Level Up" each quarter based on their performance. A quarterly review will assess your KPIs, responsibilities, opportunities for improvement, and achievements.
