BLONDIE, Manayunk’s premier restaurant, is looking for a porter/prep cook to join our team. We are a busy, high-energy restaurant.
BLONDIE is conveniently located in the heart of Manayunk along the Septa Bus routes 61 and 62 and just minutes from the Manayunk regional rail line.
As a Prep Cook/Porter you will work under the leadership of BLONDIE'S Executive Chef.
- Must have the ability/desire to work fast and clean.
- Must speak spanish
- Must be able to lift & carry 30 lbs
- Able to do prep work
- Able to wash dishes
- Able to put food deliveries away
- Previous restaurant experience in a high volume environment.
- Knowledge of fast paced sauté and grill stations a plus.
- Excellent knife skills
- Enthusiastic work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry
- Must be driven to meet or exceed standards of operational excellence
- Likes to work on a team and in a professional work environment
- Food Safety Knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Follow clear direction during fast paced brunch and dinner services
- Ensure that all dishes are made to spec
Salary : $35,000 - $42,000
