Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages,
- Administer local anesthesia and perform general dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation using electronic systems
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid dental license in the state of Indiana
- Completion of a dental degree program from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
