Our New Patient Coordinator's responsibilities primarily revolve around being the initial point of contact and efficiently managing the onboarding of new patients, including collecting information, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and Five Star patient experience.
Looking for an amazing individual with excellent custom service! The candidate will be driven, empathetic and highly organized. Candidate must be able to track results and data points while working autonomously.

Ø Work with Marketing to understand current campaigns
The Role:
Patient Onboarding and Information Gathering:
- Initial Contact: Answer and return calls from new patients, addressing their inquiries and providing information about the practice.
- Data Collection: Gather patient information, including demographics, medical history, insurance details, and any necessary referrals.
- Intake Forms: Ensure all necessary patient intake forms are completed and submitted.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the patient and the dental provider, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Scheduling and Appointment Management:
- Scheduling: Schedule new patient appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Rescheduling: Manage and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Referral Management: Enter referral patients into the patient records system and connect with unscheduled referral patients.
- Prioritization: Prioritize scheduling based on patient needs.
Customer Service and Patient Experience:
- Greet Patients: Ensure a warm and welcoming environment for new patients.
- Address Concerns: Address patient questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with information about the practice, procedures, and expectations.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with patients after their initial visit to ensure they are satisfied and address any outstanding issues.
- System Efficiency: Identify and address any inefficiencies in the new patient onboarding process.
- Perform analytical and data entry task
- Answer patient calls, emails and questions
- Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including billing
- Ensure compliance with professional standards & regulatory requirements
- Provide patient consultations and recommended treatments
- Work as a team player to ensure each patient receives the best service possible
- Schedule any necessary outpatient appointments
- Maintain up to date electronic charting
- Provide community resources and referrals for continuing care
