The company is committed to shaping a sustainable future while addressing the world’s most pressing energy challenges. Role and Responsibilities : Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.Design and implement machine learning algorithms for industrial applications, including predictive maintenance and process efficiency improvements.Develop visually engaging and informative data visualizations to effectively present insights to stakeholders.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy machine learning models that enhance system performance and reliability.Document business processes, data analysis methodologies, and key findings. Required Skills and Experience : Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, with an expected graduation by Summer 2026.Available for the internship program from June to August 2025.Hands-on experience in applied machine learning, including regression, classification, supervised, self-supervised, and unsupervised learning.Strong foundation in mathematics, particularly linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming languages such as JavaScript.Familiarity with Python libraries for data processing and machine learning, including pandas, sklearn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.Experience using version control software such as GitHub or GitLab.Ability to manage projects independently while also working effectively within cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with scalable machine learning technologies such as MapReduce or Spark.A portfolio of projects (GitHub repositories, research papers, etc.).Coursework, research, or professional experience in the energy industry is a plus. Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
