This role reports to the Director of Quality and Yield Management and is based in Fremont, CA. It is a fully on-site, in-office position. Role and Responsibilities : Oversee quality functions on the night / weekend shift, ensuring compliance across all BMCC manufacturing processes, with a strong emphasis on IC and Cell component processing steps.Lead quality functions during the shift to promptly address production line disruptions.Manage quality containment efforts during production events that impact product or incoming material quality and oversee material disposition during the shift.Collect and analyze data to help prevent quality issues and mitigate potential production delays.Ensure that Process of Actions (POAs) are effectively implemented and properly followed to prevent production issues.Maintain clear communication with co-workers and provide daily reports to the team.Escalate issues to quality engineers and management when necessary and request assistance as needed. Skills and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred, along with at least four years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment.An associate degree is beneficial but not required.Fast learner with a proactive, can-do attitude.Hands-on experience with thin-film processes is advantageous.Strong attention to detail with a dedication to safety and quality standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to safety requirements and the ability to work in a controlled environment while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
