We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Sr Director, Infrastructure and Services and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Local Area, Wide Area Network and AWS Cloud Administration (Physical / Wireless Network) by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
- Be the primary responsible person for design and development of all aspects of our Customer Network (Fleet)
- Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.
- Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
- Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling County objectives and processes.
- Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Participate in managing all network security solutions.
