We are looking for a Sr. Staff Process Engineer, NPI to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies.
Location : This position will be based in San Jose, CA.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Design and develop new process paradigms for improved fuel cell stack performance and reliability, high volume manufacturability and lower product cost.
- Perform process mapping and optimization through DOEs, create specifications, improve yield and qualify new vendors. Perform failure analysis and follow through materials characterization to support process development.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering team consisting of equipment, mechanical, controls and manufacturing engineers to develop new production equipment and processes.
- Present experimental results and data analysis to technical and cross-functional teams.
- Create PFMEAs, work instructions and other associated process documentation to facilitate process transfers to Manufacturing.
- Work with partners in Engineering, Quality and Ops to conduct 8D investigations, resolve yield issues and drive change control to implement process improvements.
