Cannabis Garden Laborer

• Bloom Montana is hiring four new garden laborers. This is an entry level indoor Cannabis cultivation position, involving primarily manual labor. Gardener responsibilities include monitoring the health of all plants, watering and feeding plants, harvesting, transplanting, lots of sweeping and mopping, and keeping green spaces tidy. Ultimately, you will make sure our cultivation facilities are always populated, clean, and healthy. Employees must be able to work 8 hours in 85 degrees, 65% humidity. Advancement opportunities will come up for those who stand out. All employees are required to obtain and maintain a state issued Cannabis Control Division workers badge. Information and instructions can be found on the Montana Department of Revenue website. CCD badge must be received before workers can start.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plants
• Harvest plants at the end of their life cycle
• Transplanting
• Prune and defoliate
• Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery
• Monitor and maintain the health of plants
• Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
• Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter

Skills

• Knowledge of state cannabis regulations is a plus
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
• A love of plant life
• A high school degree or GED
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Desire to learn
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
