Overview:

The Art Director will be responsible for setting the visual tone for all 360 campaigns and marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with overall brand objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, visual language and current design trends, and the ability to collaborate with a copywriter and other members of our creative team to bring ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization and art direction of various brand/marketing initiatives including campaigns, photo/video shoots and new product packaging
- Build out concepts and mood boards, present them to creative team, and assist with execution
- Collaborate with copywriter to transform narratives into impactful design
- Build upon current brand guidelines helping to evolve the brand’s visual identity
- Create new campaign guidelines that help set the visual direction and tone for execution
- Plan and oversee photoshoots and video shoots, sourcing/collaborating with photographers, videographers, stylists, lighting, and other members of the team
- Help oversee the execution and production of design assets, including print, digital and multimedia
- Stay up to date on design trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring to stay on track and on budget. Collaborate with project managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Blendr and AI are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant role within a brand or agency
- Proven track record of leading creative projects from concept to execution
- Extensive experience in photo and video production
