About the Opportunity

Bloom Talent Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Hardscape Estimator to join a well-established company specializing in high-rise and commercial projects. This role is critical to driving accurate estimates and improving profitability for hardscape construction projects, including pools, monument signs, and fence columns. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in estimating complex hardscape projects, an innovative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with the business development team to review scopes and optimize bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for hardscape projects, including high-rises, commercial developments, and monument installations.
• Manage $120 million in annual bids, with a weekly bid output averaging $2–$3 million and an average project value of $750K.
• Work closely with business development to review scopes of work, debrief leads, and refine bid strategies.
• Evaluate and select subcontractors for 80% of work that is subbed out while determining self-performance opportunities.
• Understand project assemblies and scopes to ensure bids are competitive and comprehensive.
• Use Excel for all bid preparation and build processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive innovation in estimating processes, ensuring alignment with gross profit and business goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to support relationship-based bidding strategies.
