Job Description :

With a commitment to excellence and customer service, we are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Estimator at Bloom Roofing you will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution processes. You will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities :

tAnalyze and understand site conditions and specifications or estimate request.
tConsult with clients, vendors, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
tResearch and gather accurate information on labor, material, and overhead costs.
tPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and bids for projects.
tReview and adjust estimates based on project changes and new information.
tTrack and monitor project costs to ensure they align with estimates and budget.
tCollaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
tMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.

Qualifications :

tProven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.

tStrong understanding of cost estimation techniques and practices.

tProficiency in estimation software and tools (Estimating Edge)

tExcellent analytical and mathematical skills.

tStrong communication and negotiation skills.

tAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.

tProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
