Scientific research organization is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their Chief Science Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven team of 45 people who is pushing boundaries and innovating at every step of the way in their research and development. Support the CSO with proactively managing calendars and communications to drive initiatives, preparing for meetings, booking travel, and improving operational processes. You will also help with some office management tasks. Someone with strong judgment who is quick and able to balance numerous priorities. This is an in-office role based in Berkeley. 100-130K DOE generous equity and benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and prioritize a dynamic schedule for the Chief Science Officer, coordinating both internal and external meetings.
- Keep the executive well-prepared and informed about upcoming commitments.
- Serve as a key coordinator, facilitating meetings and communication with others.
- Streamline and improve operational processes.
- Play an active role in researching and executing new strategic initiatives.
- Draft clear, professional emails and memos with meticulous attention to detail.
- Respond to external inquiries to the Executive.
- Organize and oversee the executive’s engagement activities and travel arrangements.
- Assist and partner on office management and company-wide tasks.
- Flexible to adapt and take on new responsibilities as needed.
