Unicorn SaaS startup is looking for a Senior Manager of Internal Communications to join their 500 global team. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on company culture and employee engagement during a period of growth. In this role you will craft and execute internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s mission, values, and goals. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure key information flows throughout the organization while designing optimal systems that enhance cross-functional collaboration across global teams. Someone who is an experienced communications professional who excels at developing engaging content and collaborating with senior leadership to align strategies. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, 2 days/week in office. 150-180K DOE equity, 401k, flexible PTO, and great health benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies that align employees with company values, business objectives, and customer priorities.
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop compelling narratives around strategic initiatives, organizational changes, and company milestones.
- Enhance employee engagement through creative content that showcases company culture, recognizes team achievements, and reinforces organizational alignment.
- Build and optimize internal communications channels and infrastructure to ensure consistent, effective information sharing across the organization.
- Develop proactive risk management frameworks and response plans to address sensitive communications topics and maintain organizational trust
- Lead the planning and execution of key internal communication events such as town halls and company announcements, providing content creation and messaging support.
- Implement metrics-driven approaches to evaluate communication effectiveness and leverage feedback to continuously improve engagement strategies
- Leverage future of work technologies and AI to automate and optimize communications workflows.
- 7 years of experience in Internal Communications within tech, SaaS, or high-growth industries.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
- Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership to align communication strategies with organizational goals.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and communication challenges.
- Experience managing communication platforms and tools (Slack, Notion, etc.)
