What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bloomberg Law Marketing Manager position at Bloomberg Industry Group?
You will work across the business to understand and implement the overall marketing strategy, support revenue growth and increase penetration within existing markets. You will work with Marketing partners to build and design, then lead the execution and optimization of marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales tools. You are responsible for understanding business objectives and changing market and competitive conditions in order to optimize campaigns and programs that support the marketing and business goals.

- Plan, manage, and work with the marketing studio to execute digital and analog campaigns including lead nurturing to generate leads.
- Optimize positioning of products for various market segments based on market research, customer feedback, product opportunities and new market developments.
- Identify targeted market segments for new product launch messaging, cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and direct marketing efforts.
- Identify new channels to market, list sources, and lead sources for focused marketing opportunities and sales support.
- Collaborate with Product, Content, Customer Experience, Studio and Marketing Analytics to maximize effectiveness of marketing campaigns and retention efforts.
- Manage development and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
- Interact regularly with the sales to obtain insight into performance of and market response to messaging, materials, and programs.
- Develop conference strategy for assigned business unit and execute plan working with Events team.
- Track and analyze marketing program performance and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness and marketing ROI then reports on results to marketing peers and business stakeholders.
- 5 years of progressive experience in business-to-business marketing. Experience in marketing information services a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in marketing or equivalent experience; graduate degree a plus.
- Demonstrated success in B2B marketing and knowledge of information services, technology, or other related industries.
- Proven track record in implementing marketing plans, integrated campaigns, direct marketing, market research, advertising, sales support, and marketing analytics.
- Skills and experience across multiple channels including email, online marketing, events/tradeshows, social media, and other channels.
- Experience in providing marketing support to sales teams and working directly with sales teams.
- Experience managing marketing budgets.
- 10% travel is required.
