Youre the kind of person who knows how to develop and maintain close working relationships with engineering leaders, marketing amp; communications partners, and journalists.

You have more than a basic familiarity with the global tech marketplace. Wed love you to be able to speak and write confidently about our underlying tech stack and why open source and AI are important to us, our business, and the world around us. Familiarity with media, social media, channels, and influencers active in and around technology and its various technical micro-communities is essential. Wow us with your expertise in WordPress, PowerPoint, and social content (in support of the hundreds of conference presentations delivered by our engineers each year). / divdivbrAs part of Bloombergs Innovation Communications team, you will be responsible for helping enhance Bloombergs reputation by telling our story as an innovator, a great place for engineers to work, and a key partner to the financial industry.

brbr / divdiv? Help build and execute integrated external and employee communications strategies, programs, and actions that enable recruitment and recognition of top talent.

divdiv? Provide counsel to senior management and subject matter experts to build and burnish the perception of Bloomberg as a technology leader

divdiv? Collaborate with engineering leaders and marketing / communications teams to shape and articulate Bloombergs commitment to innovation

divdiv? Support communications leadership in developing and executing media relations strategies including building and maintaining relationships with print, electronic, and broadcast media in business, finance and technology arenas

divdiv? Handle reactive and proactive media and analyst relations

divdiv? Report on appropriate KPIs and metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness of external communications

divdiv? Interact with PR / Comms agency partners

divdivYoull need to have :

divdiv? A Bachelors degree, along with at least 4 years of experience developing and implementing communications programs for business / financial, trade, and / or technology media; developer communications a plus

divdiv? Strong writing, editing and presentation skills

divdiv? The ability to provide timely, appropriate, and accurate counsel to engineering and communications leaders to address issues and capitalize on opportunities

divdiv? The ability to translate complex technology-related issues and opportunities into messaging that resonates with target audiences

divdiv? Experience implementing integrated communications strategies, including thought-leadership content development, digital content (blogs, videos, and social media), as well as analyst relations
