We are looking for an experienced assigning photo editor to join the Photo Enterprise team on a short term contract basis for 5 months. This is a creative role that is central to the newsroom. You'll collaborate closely with editors, reporters and photographers to visually shape enterprise stories, participating in the process from pitch to publication. The ideal candidate will have an excitement for news and a rigorous attention to detail - you're someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and juggling multiple projects. You have an in-depth awareness of the photo industry and contemporary photography scene, plus an advanced knowledge of industry standard editing tools. The role is a full-time, on site, short term contract in New York City.
We'll trust you to :
- Assign photographers and videographers and source imagery for the Bloomberg terminal and Bloomberg's homepage
- Collaborate with the wider newsroom using Bloomberg's wholly-owned content, available third-party content and web-based proprietary tools to illustrate a variety of news stories for Bloomberg platforms

Salary Range = 40 - 50 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education / training and skill level.
