What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marijuana Budtender position at Bloomerang?
A Budtender's primary role is to assist customers such as offer suggestions, answering questions, handling and showcasing products. This role requires patience to provide excellent customer service. Here at Bloomerang, we are a community-orientated store, therefore, customer service is our top priority. Our Budtenders must be familiar with cannabis related terminology so they can advise customers on which products fit their needs
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must speak/write English proficiently
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be detail oriented and take directions well
- Must be able to stand, sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Cannabis Industry
- Experience working in retail & customer service experience
- Bilingual
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Inform and recommend products for customers depending on their individual needs
- Ensure accurate cash handling, and register management
- Effectively perform register transactions without errors or shortages
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Restocking Products
- Perform Cycle Count
- Provide feedback and suggestions to Manager to continuously improve the customers and employee experience
- Frequently maintain cleanliness, dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and sanitization of dispensary
- Comply with all company policies and procedures; follow all safety standards to ensure a safe work and shopping environment
