What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Beverage position at Bloomin Brands?
The Manager, Beverage role develops and fosters execution of strategies and tactics designed to drive traffic, revenue and growth through the development and deployment of beverage-related items and concepts for all menu channels and promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
*Leads all beverage-related menu (core, limited time offers, and off-premises) processes and partners with cross-functional teams to prepare for menu deployments
*Partners with Product Marketing Manager and Ops Excellence to manage all beverage-related tests to understand performance
*Handles planning, recipe creation, R&D product sourcing, and equipment and smallware needs for beverage rollouts
*Tracks and researches beverage trends in the industry and among competitors to identify beverage opportunities/challenges/gaps
*Provides all relevant beverage information needed to create breakthrough marketing communications.
*Act as a liaison between Operations, Supply Chain, finance, and Training for all rollouts and beverage programs.
*Conduct ongoing analyses to identify barriers and find solutions to challenges related to LBW sales and execution
*Partners with Training to continually optimize LBW education tools to increase knowledge and engagement of management and hourlies
*Manage distribution and field support for all beverage and bar-related topics
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
*Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job (specifically related to beverage)
Experience/Skills:
*5 years' relevant experience in hospitality, beverage, and/or restaurant industry
*Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is enthusiastic, energetic and personable
*Must have a passion for the LBW industry
*Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to present beverage programs to multiple stakeholders
*Results driver with the ability to focus on the long term and short term needs to create business value
*Strong relationship-building skills that foster teamwork, creative thinking, and business improvements
*Channels own and others' energy to consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations
