The Supply Chain Analyst provides advanced analytics and reporting capabilities within BBI's Supply Chain function. This position uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain performance. Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations, which support BBI's Supply Chain function.
This role is based in the Tampa Restaurant Support Center and candidates should be local to the Tampa area, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Gather and interpret relevant Supply Chain data and business requirements
- Develop and systematically generate performance analysis and reports
- Model and analyze various supply chain scenarios (including ad-hoc requests), prepare cost/benefit analysis of proposed changes
- Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals
- Analyze performance, investigate problems, identify true root causes, and develop systemic solutions
- Identify and support opportunities for supply chain cost containment and performance improvement
- Develop data-driven recommendations, using advanced analytics and quantitative techniques
- Perform root-cause analysis, communicate findings and supporting evidence to members of the Supply Chain Leadership Team
- Work cross-functionally and collaboratively on Supply Chain Analytics requests
- Develop level of effort estimates, effectively prioritize and plans analytic workload on concurrent analytics projects
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key supply chain stakeholders inside-and-outside of the department
- Consolidate results and clearly articulate recommendations to senior leadership
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, MIS or related field, MBA preferred
Experience/Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role, Six Sigma certification a plus
- Strong analytical, mathematical, financial, statistical and quantitative skills
- Ability to retrieve, compile and manipulate large quantities of data from multiple databases / sources
- Experience with Prescriptive Analytics and/or Simulation Software a plus
- Expert proficiency with MS Excel and Access (must be able to create macros and forms)
- Experience working with business intelligence tools
- Ability to write moderate to complex SQL queries
- Strong knowledge of supply chain theory
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders in the organization
