Job Overview
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Live-In Caregiver to provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for a client in Alpharetta. This position offers a 3-day live-in shift with 24-hour coverage shared between two caregivers.
Schedule Wednesday 8PM- Sunday 8AM
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their independence.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care plans and any changes in health status.
- Document care provided and report any concerns to appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients by engaging them in social activities and companionship.
Responsibilities

- Monitor patients' health by observing their physical and emotional condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care, nursing homes, or memory care is preferred.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the client.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of application.
