Job Overview:
The Business Analyst works directly with the Director of Stores (DOS) and plays a key role for the Stores organization. This individual is a creative and analytical thinker, who is resourceful and can quickly pivot to meet the changing demands of the moment. Comfortable with cross functional teams, they are easily able to drive results through tenacity and strong relationships. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence and will be able to create detail-oriented output in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple workstreams that would guide strategic decisioning to drive optimal Stores sales and profitability.
Essential Functions:
- Weekly Business Review – analyzes business results and synthesizes key take-ways to inform Monday meeting cadence. Develops Stores Business Update document for EC review
- Offers analytical recaps, communication and recommendations based on results of major events
- Be proficient in accessing, interpreting, and applying new reporting optimization tools, implementing scalable best practices across the Stores organization
- Exhibits strong understanding of the business, market and competition trends
- Summarize complex findings clearly and concisely; provide insights based on trend/business changes
- Participate in special projects/committees/presentations focuses on increasing sales, margin, or improving process results
- Assist in management of Stores channel analytics
Qualifications and Competencies:
- We encourage candidates with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply.
- 1-2 years direct experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
- Excellent communications skills - effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, build formulas with references in different sheets, etc.).
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation preparation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing.
- Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking.
- Continuous use of computers and other office equipment.
- Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
