Produce Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Order according to location purchasing and contract guidelines and ensure appropriate inventory levels. Maintain systems, staffing, and record keeping for receiving deliveries.
• Maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with local and regional producers to ensure a strong presence of local product offerings. Evaluate current suppliers and investigate new suppliers.
• Participate in department inventories and centralized buying opportunities.
• Ensure all retail displays are attractive, accurate, and product is abundant and fronted & faced.
• Perform various cleaning and maintenance duties including but not limited to the retail floor, dining areas, restrooms, and facility grounds. Maintain equipment and environment in clean, safe, working order and report issues to the Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures including set-up and tear-down of displays, cleaning, and security procedures.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years retail sales and direct customer service experience

· Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, reach, bend, and climb

· Willingness to work in coolers, freezers, and outside in the elements

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to efficiency, detail, and accuracy

· Regular, predictable attendance

Pay: $15.80 - $17.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
