Responsibilities:
- Production/design/creation of a variety of baked goods for retail sale.
- Unload, process, and sign for deliveries as necessary and Inspect deliveries for damage, expiration dates, and overall quality.
- Ensure all retail displays are clean, attractive, accurate, and product is abundant, rotated, fronted, and faced. Cull short-date, damaged, or low-quality items from displays and make sure displays follow established schematics.
- Follow established systems to ensure proper storage, handling, and backstock-to-shelf rotation of all items.
- Maintain equipment, storage spaces, work spaces, and retail environment in clean, sanitary, organized, safe, and working order and report issues to the appropriate Manager.
- Perform opening and closing procedures including set-up and tear-down of displays, cleaning, and security procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to bake and follow recipes as needed.
- Experience in retail sales and direct customer service experience preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, reach, bend, and climb.
- Willingness to work in coolers and freezers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to efficiency, detail, and accuracy
- Regular, predictable attendance
