What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggy Daycare Attendant position at BloomingPaws?
BloomingPaws is looking for Dog Attendants to join our team in Bloomington, IN.
A Group Play Guardian’s primary role is to provide a safe, fun, stimulating environment for all dogs participating in group play. Working closely with the Group Play Team Lead, Resort Supervisor, and/or other Group Play Guardians, Group Play Guardians will be trained to manage a large group of dogs in an off-leash play environment.
Requirements:
- You must be able to work Mon-Fri 6:00am-12:30pm
- You must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day or holiday, if needed
Responsibilities:
- Able to properly recognize animal behavior and body language
- Provide an adequate, constant supply of fresh, clean water for dogs throughout the day
- Complete and log daily kennel inspections for all boarding dogs
- Maintain high level of group play areas through extensive cleanliness following daily, weekly, and monthly task lists to provide the healthiest of environments possible for the dogs
- Monitor and oversee overall health and well-being of dogs participating in daycare activities
- Always interacting an engaging with the dogs in some manner; to be leadership in motion
