BloomNet is looking for an Account Relationship Manager, who will build and maintain relationships with customers throughout the floral industry. This role will be based in the Upstate NY(Syracuse, Buffalo and Westchester) area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct both in-person and telephone meetings to showcase BloomNet's programs.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of BloomNet's products and services.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing customers through various channels (in-person, social media, virtual meetings, site visits, referrals).
Follow up on quotes and project updates to ensure client satisfaction and identify further business opportunities.
- Stay updated on competitive sales techniques and industry trends.
Use this knowledge to position BloomNet effectively and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Develop and implement a structured follow-up strategy for each sales opportunity to optimize closing rates.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation to contract closure.
- Stay informed about new product features, industry trends, and market developments.
Apply new knowledge to enhance sales strategies and contribute to company growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
Provide regular reports to management on sales metrics, achievements, and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development.
Foster a positive team environment and share best practices with colleagues.
- Participate in trade shows to achieve various business objectives such as increasing sales, enhancing brand awareness, and networking with potential customers and influencers.
The expected salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
Requirements:- BA/BS Degree or equivalent
- 2–3 years in outside sales
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time
- Must have sufficient means of transportation to get to locations as needed
- Self-starter with effective time management and prioritization
- Strong understanding of consultative sales
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and closing deals
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
