Bloomsbury is seeking a summer Editorial Intern for its Adult Trade team. The intern will assist our small team of editors in the publication of literary/upmarket fiction and general nonfiction. Please note that interns will not be working with Sarah J. Maas titles nor YA/Children’s books. Interns will have the opportunity to attend programming designed to introduce them to the various departments within Bloomsbury, provide them with networking opportunities, and prepare them for the job application process.

- Promptly reading, evaluating, and discussing manuscripts and proposals (both fiction and nonfiction)
- Attending editorial meetings, season launches, check-ins, and other meetings as necessary
- Leading our literary award submission process
- Conducting research and contributing to metadata
- Other duties as assigned
