Job Location : Blossom, TX

Reports to : General Manager

Job Description :

Responsible for the operational management of the facility, maintaining a smooth workflow between all departments. The OM will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the business to ensure customer satisfaction is met through on-time delivery and quality of product. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to continuous improvement, demonstrated by establishing, measuring and maintaining metrics as well as developing goals and objectives for each department and for the business overall.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead, motivate, and support the production team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors, team members, vendors and customers to ensure proper operations of the Company
• Establish, measure and maintain relevant metrics for each department, using the data for ongoing continuous improvement
• Ensure deadlines are met to ensure customer satisfaction
• Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed to meet business goals and customer commitments
• Work with QAR representatives and Government personnel
• Work closely with the General Manager, assisting with customer support and other responsibilities as needed
• Work closely with OM direct reports including the Manufacturing Manager, Programming Supervisor and Quality Supervisor to ensure "button to button" time and employee efficiency is managed and improved
• Review and update organizational and space planning as needed
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 system and all regulatory requirements
• Assist Human Resources with employee orientation, development and training
• Managing the annual review process for direct reports and their respective departments including performance and merit increases
• Responsible for employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
• Participate in the Quality System and Succession Planning
• Work with Supervisors to ensure awareness of all laws, policies and procedures that apply to working conditions and ensure they are used appropriately during employee discussions, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all company and team member information

Work Environment

The plant is a machining environment; therefore, you may be required to wear respiratory protection due to airborne particles, chemicals & solvents depending on position.

Safety glasses are always required in production areas. OSHA regulations are followed.

There is a drug screen required if you are hired for this position.
