Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Assist clients in developing essential life skills by providing one-on-one ABA therapy.
- Collect and record data on client progress in real-time during sessions.
- Collaborate with families to reinforce behavioral goals and techniques.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients during therapy.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to improve your skills and remain up to date with best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding client progress and areas needing additional focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or behavioral disorders is an advantage.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping individuals succeed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends based on client needs.
- Capacity to remain patient and calm in challenging situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $20.50 up to $30.00
