Responsibilities:
Welcome customers warmly and assist them in selecting floral arrangements or products
- Provide expert advice on flower selection, care tips, and arrangement customization
- Create a delightful and memorable shopping experience for customers
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the shop
- Assist with floral arrangement assembly and preparation
- Contribute to innovative ideas for seasonal displays and promotions
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their preferences and needs
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic retail math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Proficient in phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of floral varieties and care techniques (training will be provided)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
