Part-Time [2-3 days/wk] Experienced Medical Receptionist / Office Assistant for Naturopathic Clinic (Camas)

Join our thriving team! We need one additional office assistant team player, who could work 2-3 days per week (15-24 hours). This position is our first point of contact for visitors to our clinic. The individual in this role must possess and maintain a positive, friendly, client-first attitude. Individual must be detail-oriented, organized, outgoing and highly motivated. We are looking for someone who thrives on making our patients feel welcomed and valued, and is interested in a long term position, growing with our practice.
You should be a self-starter, clear communicator, dependable, able to work independently, and be comfortable and polite on the phone. You must enjoy talking with and meeting a wide variety of people. The ability to multitask in a busy environment is a must. Candidate must be reliable, timely, flexible, patient and have a professional attitude and dress. We are looking for a person that can commit to this job and stay for years, who desires to grow with us - A SUPER TEAM PLAYER!
Our beautiful well-established and highly reputable clinic is ideally situated in charming Historic Downtown Camas, WA. Blossom Natural Health and Wellness specializes in delivering complete naturopathic primary family healthcare.
Working hours are: Mondays - Thursdays 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM. We are closed for lunch from 12-1 PM daily. As we grow we plan to add Friday hours.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

-Computer proficiency on a Mac is essential [file management, scanning/printing/faxing]
-Minimum of two or more years experience in a Medical Reception position with knowledge of insurance.
-Working understanding of naturopathic medicine.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Able to provide the highest level of customer service to patients.
-Greet patients in a welcoming and gracious manner. Answer, screen and direct incoming calls, and retrieve messages.
-Schedule and Check patients in/out. Enter accurate demographics and insurance information.
-Track, collect, and enter all money received from patients for co-pays, supplement and retail purchases.
-Work efficiently with the EMR system.
-Manage supplement requests, including shipping items as needed.
-Manage incoming supplement shipments, stock shelves, ensure accurate pricing of items.
-Desire to make a positive difference in people's lives via superior health care.
