Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Per Diem Speech Therapist
As a Speech Therapist, you are to :
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
Provide training and education to family / caregivers and other professionals
Communicate with patients to evaluate their level of speech or language difficulty
Adapt programs according to the needs of the resident
Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards
Conduct training programs and participate in training medical, nursing and other personnel in speech therapy techniques
Ensure the residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognized the individuals’ needs and rights
Requirements :
Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology / Therapy
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred)
Valid NYS License and Credentials
