About Us:
Blossoming Minds Learning Studio is organizing small-group, personalized learning pods to support children’s education in a nurturing and engaging environment. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Learning Pod Teacher to lead instruction and guide students through core subjects and enrichment activities in a homeschool-style setting.
Position Overview:
The Learning Pod Teacher will be responsible for planning and facilitating academic lessons for a small, multi-age group of students. This role is ideal for a teacher who values relationship-based learning, small class sizes, and the flexibility to personalize instruction to student needs and interests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons in core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, etc.)
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for learning, collaboration, and exploration
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and learning goals
- Incorporate hands-on, project-based, or nature-based learning when possible
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching or tutoring in homeschool, private, or alternative settings
- Ability to manage and inspire a small group of mixed-age students
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred (or relevant experience)
Preferred:
- Experience with homeschool curriculum or interest-led learning
- Comfortable working in flexible, informal settings (home-based, outdoor, etc.)
- Open to working with pods ranging from preschool to middle school, depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
