Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide support and training on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide guidance and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members involved in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis, special education, and related areas.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, medical terminology, and patient care practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- A background in special education is a plus.
